About Me
Thank you for taking the time to visit my site; I’m glad you’re here. I invite you to take a moment to learn a bit about me, my background, and ways in which I support my clients.
I was drawn to the field of social work, because, as is stated on the home page, I believe in the resiliency of the human spirit, and the healing power of connection.
As a trauma-informed, relational therapist, I work with individuals, couples and families interested in confronting their struggles in an effort to better understand themselves and their relationships. I specialize in working with individuals who experience anxiety/depression, couples counseling (EFT trained), neurodivergent parenting support and infertility and adoption. In addition, I have experience working with individuals impacted by divorce, grief and loss and sexual abuse.
As an adoptive mother myself, I am passionate about supporting individuals and families struggling with infertility challenges. I provide holistic and ongoing support for individuals and families throughout the adoption process and am dedicated to empowering parents to best support the unique needs of their individual children, to help them grow into healthy, happy and well-rounded adults.
My clients describe my approach as warm, supportive, and compassionate, yet straightforward. I believe we all experience and process life’s challenges uniquely, therefore tailor my approach to each and every client as we work through therapy together.
